The above-mentioned war drills should be stopped in south Korea, first of all, in order to create an atmosphere for repairing the inter-Korean relations and provide a peaceful environment on the peninsula. With no pretext can they justify the joint military drills with outside forces, the main factor of stoking distrust and confrontation and escalating the danger of a nuclear war.
The mending of the inter-Korean relations would be unthinkable as long as the above-said saber-rattling against compatriots is going on in south Korea. The south Korean authorities should draw a lesson from the catastrophic consequences entailed by their reckless saber-rattling.
