Stamps Issued to Commemorate First Death Anniversary of Kim Jong Il

The DPRK State Stamp Bureau issued stamps (two sheets) to commemorate the 1st anniversary of demise of leader Kim Jong Il, Dec. 17.
Seen on the upper part of the stamps are letters reading "The great leader Comrade Kim Jong Il will always be with us".
One of the sheets contains a picture of the leader enjoying the sunrise on Piro Peak of Mt. Kumgang, as well as words and score of the song "The General Will Live Forever as the Sun".
Another sheet displays a picture of the leader giving field guidance to the Huichon Ryonha General Machine Factory.
The stamps remind people of the admirable revolutionary career and feats of Kim Jong Il, who devoted all his life to the wellbeing of the people and the prosperity of the country.
