Kim Jong Un Publishes Work Calling on Social Scientists to Contribute to Modeling Whole Society on Kimilsungism-Kimjongilism
Pyongyang, December 1 (KCNA) -- The dear respected Marshal Kim Jong Un sent a letter "Our Social Sciences Should Actively Contribute to Accomplishing the Cause of Modeling Whole Society on Kimilsungism-Kimjongilism" to the scientists and officials of the Academy of Social Sciences on December 1, the 60th anniversary of the academy.
Kim Jong Un in the letter said that President Kim Il Sung and leader Kim Jong Il attached importance to social sciences and paid deep attention to their development, thus developing them into revolutionary and Juche-based social sciences conducive to accomplishing the human cause of independence.
Under the wise guidance of Kim Il Sung and Kim Jong Il and under their warm care, the Academy of Social Sciences has turned into a reliable institution supporting the party in terms of ideas and theories and a comprehensive center for studying social sciences, the letter says, and goes on:
The Academy of Social Sciences has covered a glorious history and made shining successes in the field of social sciences. These are associated with the ardent loyalty and devoted efforts made by the social scientists of the DPRK for the prosperity of the country and the development of the social sciences of the country, while remaining faithful to the party and the leader.
The basic duty facing the field of social sciences at present is to further glorify the undying feats performed by Kim Il Sung and Kim Jong Il in accomplishing the revolutionary cause of Juche, successfully solve theoretical and practical matters arising in building a thriving socialist nation and thus actively contribute to accomplishing the cause of modeling whole society on Kimilsungism-Kimjongilism.
The letter indicates fundamental principles and general orientation to be constantly maintained in building Juche-oriented social sciences.

PYONGYANG, Dec. 1 (Xinhua) -- Top leader Kim Jong Un of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea (DPRK) on Saturday urged the country's scientists to bring a great turn in social sciences in a Juche-oriented way, reported the official KCNA news agency.
Kim made the call in a letter to the scientists and officials of the Academy of Social Sciences marking the institution's 60th founding anniversary.
He asked them to make tangible contributions in their professional activities to building a thriving nation and bring a great turn as required by the times, according to the KCNA.
In the letter, Kim clarified the responsibility and duty of social scientists, urging them to actively contribute to accomplishing the cause of modeling whole society on Kimilsungism-Kimjongilism.
