Kim Jong Un Enjoys Frontline Performance of Moranbong Band



Marshal Kim Jong Un, first secretary of the Workers' Party of Korea, first chairman of the National Defence Commission of the DPRK and supreme commander of the Korean People's Army, enjoyed a frontline performance given by the Moranbong Band to celebrate the 52nd anniversary of Kim Jong Il's start of Songun revolutionary leadership.
When Kim Jong Un together with his wife Ri Sol Ju appeared in the auditorium, the audience warmly greeted him with stormy cheers.
Also there to see the performance were Choe Ryong Hae, Hyon Yong Chol, Kim Kyong Hui, Jang Song Thaek, Kim Jong Gak, Hyon Chol Hae, Kim Won Hong, Ri Myong Su, O Kuk Ryol, Kim Chang Sop, and other senior officials of the Party and army, commanding members of the KPA three services and strategic rocket forces, commanding officers and pilots of the combined units in the eastern front and soldiers of the Kamnamu (persimmon tree) Company.
The performance, which began with the playing of Patriotic Song, eulogized Kim Jong Il's immortal exploits of Songun revolutionary leadership.
Put on the stage were colorful numbers such as light music and song "Victors".
The performance ended with the female vocal sextet "Our Beloved Leader".
Kim Jong Un congratulated the artistes on their successful performance.
