Order of Kim Jong Il Awarded to KCST
Pyongyang, January 4 (KCNA) -- Order of Kim Jong Il was awarded to the Korean Committee of Space Technology (KCST).
It succeeded in launching satellite Kwangmyongsong 3-2, thus creditably carrying out the behest of leader Kim Jong Il, strikingly demonstrating the tremendous might of the great Paektusan nation and making a great contribution to encouraging all service personnel and people in the dynamic advance for hastening the final victory in the building of a thriving nation.
An awarding ceremony was held on Friday.
Present there were Kim Yong Nam, member of the Presidium of the Political Bureau of the Central Committee of the Workers' Party of Korea and president of the Presidium of the Supreme People's Assembly of the DPRK, officials, scientists, technicians and workers of the KCST.
