Kim Yong Nam Leaves to Visit Vietnam and Laos
Kim Yong Nam, president of the Presidium of the Supreme People's Assembly of the DPRK, left Pyongyang to pay official goodwill visits to Vietnam and Laos on August 4 .
He was accompanied by Minister of Foreign Trade Ri Ryong Nam, Minister of Mining Industry Kang Min Chol, Vice-Minister of Foreign Affairs Kung Sok Ung and other suite members.
Kim Yong Nam Arrives in Hanoi
Kim Yong Nam, President of the Presidium of the Supreme People's Assembly of the DPRK on August 5 arrived in Hanoi, capital of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam for an official goodwill visit at the invitation of Truong Tan Sang, President of the SRV.
Arriving together with him were Ri Ryong Nam, minister of Foreign Trade, Kang Min Chol, minister of Mining Industry, Kung Sok Ung, vice-minister of Foreign Affairs and other suite members.
They were greeted at the airport by senior officials of Vietnam and the ambassador and officials of the DPRK embassy in Hanoi.
A woman worker presented a bouquet to him.
He reviewed the guards of honor of the Vietnamese People's Army and headed for the city, escorted by motor-cycles.
