The respected Marshal Kim Jong Un dispatched helicopters to save 6 Chinese workers at the crossroads of life and death in a mine district, Jangjin County hit by torrential rain and landslide.
On the 28th of August last, the typhoon-15 swept most parts of our country, which brought about downpour and landslide in Jangjin County, too, doing serious damage to inhabitants there.
The Korean inhabitants and Chinese people working in the mine district strove hard to overcome the disaster, sharing warm friendly feelings with each other. But the damage situation was going from bad to worse as the days go by owing to the lack of food and medicaments.
Officials concerned took measures. Belatedly hearing this news, the relevant unit of China also took a measure to send relief goods. As the typhoon and torrential rain completely paralyzed traffics, they could not find any way.
After receiving a report on the situation, Kim Jong Un took a step to save the Chinese workers.
On the order of Supreme Commander Kim Jong Un, airmen made an emergency sortie.
The unfavorable weather conditions and landslide made them unable to find the mine district and landing spot.
When landing, the propeller of the helicopter was damaged. Though the relief goods were conveyed, the helicopter could not take off.
Kim Jong Un dispatched another helicopter again, saying that the Chinese working people should be saved.
The Chinese working people were deeply moved by the profound benevolence bestowed by Marshal Kim Jong Un who sent helicopters two times to save ordinary workers of China.
When they met officials of the Chinese embassy in Pyongyang, they asked them to convey their deep thanks to the Korean side.
