"Pyongyang, July 11 (KCNA) -- Jo Hyok Chol, a member of the Korean Children's Union and pupil at the fourth grade of Rinsan Primary School in Rinsan County, North Hwanghae Province of the DPRK, sacrificed himself to save two drowning girls. The news touched the heartstrings of people.
On the evening of July 8, he found two girls drowning in the deep waters of the Mungu River.
He immediately jumped into the water to save Ri Hyon Ju, second grade girl of the same school. Then he again went back to save Sim Yong Sun, first grade girl of Rinsan Secondary School. He was so exhausted that he could not rise up again after pushing Sim Yong Sun out of water.
