The head of the delegation conveyed cordial regards of Comrade Kim Il-song and Comrade Kim Chong-il to Comrade Erich Honecker.
The secretary expressed deep thanks for this on behalf of Comrade Erich Honecker and asked the head of the delegation to convey his wishes for good health and long life to the great leader Comrade Kim Il-song and dear Comrade Kim Chong-il.
The conversation took place in a friendly atmosphere.

[Text] Pyongyang, 15 Mar (KCNA)—An agreement on friendly relations and cooperation between South Hamgyong Province of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea and Dresden County of the German Democratic Republic was signed on March 10 in Dresden.
It was signed by Yi Kil-song, member of the Central Committee of the Workers' Party of Korea and chief secretary of the South Hamgyong Provincial Party Committee, and Hans Modrocue, members of the Central Committee of the Socialist Unity Party of Germany and first secretary of the Dresden County Party Committee."

Zum Inhalt der Meldung:
Das Bezirks-Partnerschaftsabkommen wurde also am 10. März 1985 - in Dresden - abgeschlossen.
Der Name des koreanischen Unterzeichners "Yi Kil-Song" sagt mir nichts (Zwischenfrage: war es damals in Nordkorea üblich den Familiennamen "Yi" zu schreiben, heute würde da "Ri" stehen?!), den Namen haben entweder schon die Nordkoreaner oder dann die Amerikaner verunstaltet: "Hans Modrocue"?!, das ist natürlich Hans Modrow!, der damals auch Erster Sekretär der SED-Bezirksleitung in Dresden war.
Leider erfährt man aus der kurzen Meldung nicht, was die beiden Herren nun inhaltlich beschlossen haben ...
Eine Frage an die DDR-Kenner: War damals die SED-Bezirksleitung Dresden ident (nicht personell, sondern rechtlich gesehen) mit der Bezirksleitung des Verwaltungsbezirkes Dresden, gab es da keinen Unterschied; die SED war (nicht nur faktisch, sondern auch rechtlich) tatsächlich der Staat?

Am gleichen Tag übrigens , also am 10. März 1985 - so informiert uns die KCNA weiter - besuchten Honecker, Stoph, Sindermann und weitere DDR-Honoratioren die KDVR-Ausstellungshalle (hatte die damals eine eigene?) auf der Leipziger Frühlingsmesse, wo ihnen vom Vize-Handelsminister der KDVR und dem Botschafter der KDVR in Berlin das wichtigste nordkoreanische Ausstellungsstück auf dieser Messe präsentiert wurde: Ein Photo, welches Erich Honecker und Kim Il Sung vereint während Kims Deutschland-Besuchs des Jahres 1984 zeigt:
"DPRK EXHIBITION IN GDR—Pyongyang, 13 Mar (KCNA)—Comrade Erich Honecker, general secretary of the Central Committee of the Socialist Unity Party of Germany (SED) and chairman of the State Council of the German Democratic Republic, on March 10 visited the Korean exhibition hall participating in the Leipzig Spring International Fair. He was accompanied by Willi Stoph, chairman of the Council of Ministers of the GDR, Horst Sindermann, president of the People's Chamber of the GDR, members of the Political Bureau of the SED Central Committee, vice-chairmen of the Council of Ministers and other personages concerned. They were met at the exhibition hall by Vice-Minister of Foreign Trade Pang Tae-yul, head of the DPRK Government trade delegation, and Pak Hyon-po, DPRK ambassador to the GDR. The head of the delegation explained the exhibition hall to Comrade Erich Honecker. Walking round to see photographs showing his meeting with Comrade Kim Il-song, Comrade Erich Honecker said Comrade Kim Il-song's visit to the GDR last year was a very excellent
