Das folgende befrifft mehr den protestantischen Glauben in Nordkorea; diese KCNA-Meldung vom 22.Jänner 2012 haben wir wohl alle überlesen:
Chairman of Christian Federation of Korea Dies of Heart Attack
Pyongyang, January 22 (KCNA) -- Kang Yong Sop, deputy to the Supreme People's Assembly of the DPRK and chairman of the Central Committee of the Christian Federation of Korea, died of a heart attack on Saturday at the age of 80.
His obituary was released on Sunday in the name of the SPA Presidium, the Religious Believers Council of Korea and the Central Committee of the Christian Federation of Korea.
Kang worked as a deputy since the 10th SPA and made positive efforts for national reconciliation, unity and reunification till the last moments of his life, the obituary said.
Even though he died, his feats for national reunification will remain long, stressed the obituary.
Der Vorsitzende der Christlichen Vereinigung Nordkoreas, ein gewisser Kang Yong Sop, ist also erst kürzlich verstorben. Neben seiner Funktion als Leiter christlicher Glaubensbewegungen in Nordkorea war er auch Abgeordneter der Obersten Volksversammlung.
Wie wir ja wissen, war Kim Il Sungs familiäres Umfeld tief im christlichen Glauben verhaftet.
Der uns unbekannte, verstorbene Kang Song Yop war ein Cousin von Kim Il Sung. Kang Yang Sop war übrigens auch Direktor des theologischen Seminars in Pyongyang! (ja, so was gibt es auch!)
