Der serbische Erstliga-Verein FK Bezanija (in Belgrad) hat zwei Nordkoreaner verpflichtet:
Hong Yong-Ho, erst spielte früher beim 25.4.-Sportverein in Nordkorea (Geb.-Dat: 22.5.1982, Stürmer) und
Park Tae-Gyu (Geb.-dat.: 21.2.1990, Stürmer).
Beim russischen Erstliga-Klub Krylia Sovetov Samara spielen sowohl ein Nordkoreaner - Choe Myong-Ho - als auch ein Südkoreaner.

Choe Myong-Ho (Chosŏn'gŭl: 최명호; born 3 July 1988) is a North Korean footballer currently playing for Russian Premier League club FC Krylia Sovetov Samara as a midfielder. Choe was one of the first native North Koreans to join a club abroad.
Born in Pyongyang and a member of his country's U-17 national team, Choe Myong-Ho took part in the 2005 FIFA U-17 World Championship (scoring three times in four games) and the AFC U-17 Championship 2006, where his side finished runners-up. He was selected as the 2005 AFC Youth Player of the Year.
Before moving to Russia, Choe Myong-Ho had played for the Ministry of Light Industry team (Kyonggongop) in the DPR Korea League of his native country.
Due to his remarkable skills and talent the player has been called the "North Korean Ronaldo" despite not being a striker.
