Mosaics Depicting Kim Il Sung and Kim Jong Il Erected in Wonsan
Mosaics depicting smiling President Kim Il Sung and leader Kim Jong Il "The great leader Comrade Kim Il Sung will always be with us" and "The great leader Comrade Kim Jong Il will always be with us" were erected in Wonsan City, Kangwon Province.
This is a manifestation of the firm will of the people in the province to hold Kim Il Sung and Kim Jong Il in high esteem for all ages and eternally glorify the noble revolutionary careers and undying feats of the peerlessly great men.
Kim Il Sung visited Kangwon Province dozens of times, clearly indicating the road for the province to follow till the last moments of his life since he set foot on Wonsan in September of 1945.
During his great life Kim Jong Il provided field guidance to the province many times, leading overall work in the province with deep care and calling upon the party members and other working people in the province to wage a dynamic drive for building a thriving nation.
The unveiling ceremony of the mosaics took place on July 8.
