"Kim Jong Il visited Jilin City associated with the revolutionary activities of President Kim Il Sung.
...
The first leg of his visit was Jilin Yuwen Middle School where President Kim Il Sung studied from 1927 to 1929.
Upon arriving at the school amid the warm welcome of its teachers and students, Kim Jong Il laid a floral basket before the statue of the President at the school and paid high tribute to him before going round the interior of the school preserved to its original state.
...
The second leg of his visit was the Yaowang Shrine in the Beishan Park, one of the secret places often used by Kim Il Sung in the early days of his revolutionary activities.
...
Then he visited the Jilin Chemical Fiber Group producing a variety of chemical fibers and the building of the Catholic Church in Jilin.
...
Jilin is a place where he lived before, he said, adding that this time he had an opportunity to witness in this old city great changes and delightful progress and got deep impressions and felt a lot."

Die KCNA beschreibt also dezitiert den Besuch Kim Jong Ils folgender vier Örtlichkeiten in Jilin:
http://english.jl.gov.cn/tou/touring/200...96070.html )
