Printing Factory Jointly Established by DPRK, China
The Korea Printing Factory under Tongbaek Joint Venture Printing Company was commissioned with due ceremony in Pyongyang on June 25.
Addressing the ceremony, Choe Kyong Guk, director and editor-in-chief of the Foreign Languages Publishing House of the DPRK, said that the factory is a red camellia in full bloom in the flower garden of DPRK-China friendship.
The factory was established jointly by the Foreign Languages Publishing House of the DPRK and the Oriental Yongli Hong Kong Int'l Investment Co., Ltd. and Jiangsu Zhongcai Printing Co., Ltd. of China.
The factory will produce and sell varieties of printed matters and trademarks in the DPRK. It will also receive orders from international market.
Choe expressed the will to strictly implement all agreed points through goodwill negotiations on the principle of equality and reciprocity guided by the DPRK Law on Joint Venture, its enforcement regulations and other related laws.
The factory will ensure credit and profit in its operation and make signal contribution to the printing development of the country, he declared.
The two-storied factory is furnished with production equipment on the first floor and facilities for inspection of products and offices on the second floor.
It is located in Sosong District, Pyongyang.
